Corporate History

Bitzer-Boos GmbH had changed from specialised scale trader to manufacturer of industrial weighing technology. Being supplier of complete systems, the company aims to optimise customer´s operational sequences by means of its´ products and services. Apart from the mechanical and electronical workshop, an own software developing department has been already existing since the beginning of the eighties. Consequently, top-quality and high-performance truck scales, hopper and bin scales as well as belt weighers are combined with sectoral or even individual software in order to generate complete automation systems.

The company comprises the head office in Hildesheim and 4 consolidated companies, each involved in service as well as in sales for a defined region within the German market. In total, approx. 55 employees are engaged in order to offer excellent quality and groundbreaking products. By means of locally based and flexible service units, Bitzer guarantees immediate on-the-spot support. The conglomerate of longtime experience, based on exceptional low employee turnover, makes up the comprehensive expertise in the automation of weighing sequences including data processing systems. Continuous input from customer helps to improve sequences as well as generating market-oriented innovations.

Approval of QM-System – Calibration by manufacturer according to EG-Regulation 90/384/EWG

2005:

Weighing in network, legal for trade

2006:

Development of BITZER Automatic Sample Analyser for quick determination of grain qualities  

2008:

Approval for initial calibration of automatical action scales, e.g. bulk scales (MID-Conformity according to EG-Regulation 2004/22/EG annex D)
